Firstly, you're a crazy lot for driving on the wrong side of the road. Secondly, our stop lines are white, not yellow. Just another thing you people do wrong. Thirdly, I have to assume that their is some oncoming traffic out-of-frame, otherwise, you're simply paranoid.
Previously, left-turning traffic at intersections had to give way to right-turning traffic (as I am doing in this blog post), but the rule was changed so that the opposite is now in effect (i.e. right-turning traffic now gives way).
